Deliverance

Welcome, Comrade! You stand today in the glorious Independent People’s Republic of Norilsk, the heart of the New Soviet Union! The Old Soviet Union gave up the glorious vision of Marx one year ago, but we keep the dream alive for all people. Sure, the weather is cold, the labor is hard, and Norilsk is the only member of the New Soviet Union, but this is a matter of principle! Thanks to our isolation we are the last place untouched by Coca-Cola, rock and roll, playboy magazine, and other American filth. 

You are one of the ones we brought in from the Old Soviet Union’s gulags, no? You were what, a counter-revolutionary? It doesn’t matter, your crimes against the Soviet Union are not forgotten. Though, I’m sure you’ll appreciate the new work, it beats the Siberian timber cutting you’ve been doing. 

Our city is currently under a lockdown due to the grave threat of capitalist spies infiltrating our great utopia. As such our citizens must order everything they need using the “internet,” whatever capitalist garbage that is. As such you must deliver these packages between homes. You will be given your state-mandated quota of packages at the start of each day, you must go to each address, pick up the packages, and then deliver them to their destination. As a reward, you will be able to use “money” to “purchase” additional “products” to fuel your work.  It is a simple job. But if you mess up, or spread your vile revolutionary lies, rest assured you will go to the coal mines like everyone else.
